Describe past or present professional activities relevant to bananas:
Sasivimon began her study on banana diversity in Thailand for her Ph.D. thesis in 2000. She has travelled and collected bananas around the country with her team from Faculty of Science, Mahidol University for 10 years. At present, the team manages more than 600 accessions of the banana information and has published two banana species names new to science, Musa serpentina in 2011 and Musa nanensis in 2015.
